Newark police investigating an unlawful sexual contact incident

Newark Police are investigating an unlawful sexual contact incident that occurred on Friday, November 13 at 12:05 p.m. in the College Square parking lot near Kmart. A 28 year-old female, who was with her small child and infant, leaned into her car to secure her infant in a car seat. While doing so, a black male suspect that was seated in a parked charcoal gray Ford Focus next to her vehicle, inappropriately touched the woman. The suspect then drove away at a high rate of speed towards Pep Boys.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned black male, approximately 18-25 years of age, and was driving a charcoal gray Ford Focus.

Newark Police are seeking tips for any information on the person in the attached pictures who is considered a person of interest.
