The Middletown Area Chamber of Commerce (MACC) was pleased to partner with the Wilmington Blue Rocks for the 4th Annual MOT Community Night on Thursday, June 5, 2014, and will hold the event for the fifth year on Thursday, June 4, 2015.

A record breaking crowd of more than 6,093 fans came out to cheer on the Blue Rocks and celebrate all things MOT in last year's event. This year, the Blue Rocks take on Frederick Keys at 6:35 p.m.

Last year, the MACC, along with Rocky Bluewinkle awarded their $1,000 scholarships out on the field to Jacob Bricker and Samantha Cirillo of Middletown High School and Makenzi Carter & Carson Hanna of Appoquinimink High School. Next in the line up was the introduction of the MOT Little League Blue Devils and the MOT Terps. Our very own Middletown Little Leager, Hayden Argoe threw out the first pitch.

Special thanks go out on behalf of the Chamber of Commerce and it's Board of Directors to the 37 MOT area business and organizations, skybox sponsors:  Chesapeake Insurance Associates, Cover & Rossiter CPA's, Perfect Moments Photography, PJVideoFilm, Technigraphics, the towns of Middletown, Odessa and Townsend, and to all the attendees who participated in the 4th Annual MOT Community night in making it such a successful event.

"The Wilmington Blue Rocks look forward to our annual MOT Night at the ballpark every season and the support of the MOT Community is always so strong," said group sales executive Stefani Rash. "[Last] year was our biggest event yet and we look forward to [this] seasons event!"
